Mission
Our mission is to take Christ to the poor by awakening and enabling God’s people.
This statement expresses our approach to missions. We ‘take’ Christ because wherever He went, people were saved, helped, healed, and freed. It is no different today. As we ‘take’ Him to the poor, we produce the same effects because he is alive and at work among us.
We ‘awaken’ God’s people to compassion and responsibility on behalf of the poor. We ‘enable’ God’s people to serve as missionaries and carry out the Great Commission.
