Howdy!

I am so glad to tell you about how we are doing. Despite the challenge of delays in Jackson’s dissertation, we know that God has been faithful. God loves us and I think that, He has a lesson for us in this situation and big plans for our family. Yes, this mountain is not difficult for God to demolish. We will not allow delay of this dissertation to let us forget how good and faithful the Lord has been to us this past year. As you all know I have been away from my husband for 8 months (this is not advisable to anyone at all) for the weeks go by into the months and months. Yes we faced challenges and difficulties but God was very present and he helped us accomplished a lot in our ministry. At the end of the year I knew I needed to come back to my husband to help him. The Bible is right in saying, “it is not good for a man to be alone.” It was not easy for Jackson and myself at all. Within these 8 months period, I spent a lot of time with our Mayo and actually saw her living her name Oluwamayowa (God has brought us joy). She brings a lot of joy to us and we are thankful for God’s blessing through her. Mayo is now in 1st grade, and she loves school and reading. One of her favorite things now is Bible Study. This January, she joined a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) program for children and she loves it. When she tells me about how much she loves her Daddy she says, I love my daddy 9,0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times. Well, that surely means uncountable times. Mayo is truly a bunch of joy! Thank you Jesus for Mayo!! As for me, I think I am just a little intermediary between daddy and daughter. I am so glad that God put me in my family and to be the one that will be flexible to go back and forth. Yes, it is not easy but I see it as a ministry and I am happy that I can do that for my family. In all, we give God the glory for all he has done for us the Rowland-Adeniyis and the Jege community.  We also thank God for you our friends. We love you, 9,00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times!! Blessing

Christmas Holiday
Monday, January 23rd, 2012, No Comments »

My Christmas and New Year was celebrated with my extended families. Before Christmas my niece who got married to a Muslim called me and said she and her family will like to celebrate Christmas with me (I was glad to hear that, because it will be a good opportunity to minister to them). Well, she came with her two sons and her two younger sisters that have never been to Church before. On Christmas Eve, we had a family party and I asked everyone to sing one Christian songs. (It was difficult initially, but they all enjoyed it) and we all prayed together. I also told them we are all going to Church on Christmas day because I am preaching (I actually preached on Christmas day in one of the Evangelical church). My joy was they all came to Church with me for the first time and I knew a seed was planted. The rest of the year was with my mom, all my brothers, their wives and children. (Full house) It was a very good time to reunite with families and friends. My highlight of the holiday was the fulfillment in the life of Grace and Knowledge Academy’s Children and how much we can do with few Dollars and a friend like you. I believe you have a good Christmas and New Year.

The Roofing
Tuesday, November 8th, 2011, No Comments »

I arrived safely back to Isanlu. Thanks for your prayers! I am getting ready for teaching tomorrow. I have two news for you.
1. The good news is the roofing on our building is fixed. So we are moving on to the next stage which will be ceiling, electricity, plastering, flooring etc. Is still a long way but we are hoping to finish very soon. I am so happy that God is putting things together at his own time.
2. The bad news is Bose the lady I shared her story with you died last week. Living four children as orphan. Well, it was so sad, but the good news is our ministry will take responsibility of these children, by God's grace we will train them in school and provide meal for them as much as we can. Their last born Omolayo is four years old and she is in her school. There is going to be a story about her in our November news letter do not miss reading it.
3. There is an opportunity for you to sponsor one or more of these lovely children in our school. Please do not miss it. Some of these children have touching stories, they are loving in their own special way. We will appreciate if all the 42 can be sponsor before the end of the year!
We can do it! More detail in our November news.
Love you all!!
Blessing
