Christian Schools
We operate a Christian school in Mozambique. We place God’s Word at the center of their education.
Our curriculum includes an hour of Bible class with songs, stories and prayer. Children who are sick are given medical attention. All receive a hot lunch before returning home. For some, this will be their only meal of substance for the day.
Our El Shaddai Christian school in Mozambique serves around 600 children up through the 4th grade. Our goal is to add two grades each year, reaching a total of 12 grades and 1,500 students by the year 2015. It is an ambitious goal, but as our partners have said, it is only through children with a Christian education that Mozambique will become what God intends it to be.
We believe a Christian school is the only way to change the behaviors in our community that lead to AIDS, the only way to fully evangelize our people and bring lasting change.
