Build a home for Rosario in 2012.
Wednesday, March 28th, 2012, No Comments »

Meet Rosario Manuel Eugenio.  He shares some of his story below. I am 18 years old and was born is Dondo. My father married three women, my mother was his first wife. He left my mother, and today she is now very ill. I've always lived with my father and his second.wife. She had three children from a different marriage and together they had two more.  But then my father left her because of ill-treatment and treachery. He then took a third wife in Gorongoza (a days drive from Dondo). I continued to live with his second wife but she did not want me around because she kept bringing her boyfriends to the house. My desire is to keep my younger brothers safe, fed and away from the treachery their mother brings into the home. To do this I need to find another place for us to live. I prayed for God's help and then I applied to the Green Door. I believe that God will help me and my brothers to have a place to live. $1,500 will build Rosario and his brothers a home. Little Pame her parents will have a home in 2012.
Wednesday, March 28th, 2012, No Comments »

Thanks to a generous CRI donor Pame and her family will have a new home in 2012! May the Lord bless Pame and her family and the generous donor who has help change their lives.
Vasco and his wife Joana have been married for five years, suffering with two miscarriages until two years ago when they gave birth to their healthy little girl, Pame. Last November they lost their nine-day-old baby boy. Their faith in Jesus has helped them navigate such a great loss. Vasco and Joana also suffer from a chronic disease that makes life hard. It's an illness that is manageable when they can afford medications.
Vasco has a job that he works seven days a week.  It pays little and his Muslim boss does not want him attending the weekly Project Life Bible study he enjoys so much.  His mother also is a Muslim and goes to the witch doctor.
The Caetano have been part of CRI's Project Life outreach and bible study program for the past three years.  Desipte the hardship and persecution they continue to remain faithful in their Christian beliefs. They are praying that God will provide them a GD home before their mud home washes away in the rains.
